APC's MasterSwitch is a power distribution unit (PDU) that allows users to control power to connected devices. The on/off/reboot capability of this unit is ideal for any situation where simply rebooting or power cycling is required of equipment or "locked-up" servers. MasterSwitch Power Receptacles increase the maximum load amperage controlled by a MasterSwitch unit by allowing for loads to be shifted from the MasterSwitch to a separate branch circuit.
