When your scanning volume is lower, an Adrenaline software engine is the best way to enable point-of-capture processing on a wide range of low-end and mid-range scanners. Adrenaline software supports scanning at up to 30 images per minute, depending on the speed of your PC. Adrenaline Image Processing Engine supports all the image-processing features found in Adrenaline hardware accelerators. It is designed for sophisticated capture applications that require forms recognition, bar code recognition, deskew, line removal, deshade, edge enhancement, and other sophisticated image processing features. The Adrenaline Image Processing Engine is also ideal for building batch-oriented image processing servers.
