This is an RS-232 15-foot 25-conductor straight-through DB25-male to DB25-male serial cable assembly. This multi-purpose cable assembly is not normally used when interfacing PCs to printers. It is used when devices require straight-through configured cable assemblies or when interfacing PCs and peripherals with manual data transfer switches. This cable can also be used as a parallel input cable from IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2 and compatible computers with a DB25 female port to the Belkin Compact Parallel Auto Switch printer sharing device.
